The technical and administrative excellence I've seen at this location is really something amazing. Really great/nice people and very intelligent. I've been involved in scientific research/management for quite a long time and this office is really something else, I'm very impressed. I've worked for/with a multitude of state, federal, and tribal organizations as well as NGOs and ADFG in Soldotna is really something else, next level stuff. If they don't have the answer they will send you where to get it, I've rarely seen staffing that is this impressive, I'm very thankful for their information and guidance and I feel blessed as a community member to have these folks working for me and all of us.

There is...Absolutely...! Sports lake just about mile 3 of the kenai spur hwy.. Arc lake four mile south of Soldotna...kelly lake North of Soldotna about mile 73 of the Sterling...if you need a fishing buddy..let me know..always willing to help. If they would like to catch a Sockeye Salmon let me know..we could do that too..?

Who do I call to ask how thick the ice is on stocked lakes?

No. You can contact US fish and wildlife (feds). They might want samples from it.

Is there any way to show proof I have a fishing licence but I left it at home and I'm doing a charter in 2 hours 5 hours away from home they need a copy of my licence in the boat what do I do

Sorry, but that is not possible. If you have lost or misplaced your PID you can apply for another on line, and receive temporary license if you received the most recent PFD. The PFD is the easiest way for the State to establish residency.
