Post-covid, some of the charm of the shopping area has been lost. Perhaps due to supply chain issues, much of the unique stocks that the shops had to offer is gone. Almost every clothing store except for the boutiques has the same selection as Grey's or a Wings. The Mystic Jewel and Kitty Hawk Kites has lost many unique items and lacks a large plush/pretty jewelry stock.

Great little shopping area. Lots of variety for any group of travelers to stop and shop. I got some alligator jerky at the jerky store and cigars right next door. Also had a great experience taking old time photos. The owner was very passionate about his business and took the time to make sure we looked authentic.

A little bit of a drive up in Corolla. It was very crowded when I visited, to the point where I could not get in/out of several shops. All the restaurants I tried to visit were closed. It does have two entrances, which is very nice for someone like me who can't see them until it's too late to turn.
