This cozy, chic, unique eatery is a MUST. From friendly and attentive servers to beach murals to 4 different small dining rooms, each w/ its own decor. And then there is THE FOOD!!! IT IS JUST INCREDIBLE. I assure you this is a spot you can take anyone you want to give an awesome memory.

Great service, great food. I had the clam chowder, thick and yummy. Bacon avocado sandwich was good too. The salmon salad was over the top good, huge but it a went down without effort. Yumm.

When we arrived for our stay in Newport Beach, we were ready to explore! We followed Marine Avenue right into Balboa Island. This main street of the island is filled with cute boutiques, gift shops and restaurants. We decided on the unassuming Wilma’s Patio after seeing their posted menu offered a wide variety of items, from sandwiches to Mexican. I decided on the Reuben sandwich, always my go-to when I see it on the menu, and it did not disappoint. My husband chose the burger on sourdough, which was a plateful! We sat on the small heated patio in front of the restaurant, and with the good service and vibe of Marine Avenue, it was a relaxing evening after a day of traveling.

Found this little gem while we were visiting Balboa Island over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The place is able to hold more diners than you think, they also had outside heaters for diners who preferred to be outside. The food was …It's awesome you found us, June! You really can't beat our French onion soup. Our pumpkin pie is locally-famous for it's spectacular flavor, so it's no surprise to hear your husband thought it was incredible. We hope to see you back our way again the next time you're in Newport! -Sheri Drewry, Owner

Yes we take reservations, and you can call when you are on your way and put your name on the wait list if we have one.
Jolly Roger way in the late 1950s. Dont know between that period and Wilmas. Around 1955 they had a small place in the restaurant that sold the best tacos to passser bys.
Dining only outside or take out.
You do not have to make a reservation, However we do take them!! If you have a large party we strongly recommend that you do. At peak times we recommend them as well, if you do not like to wait. You can call ahead to see how long our wait is on weekends, and anyone is welcome to add your name to the waitlist at that time. Holidays we strongly recommend them!(Easter, Mothers & Fathers Day etc.) Hope this helps!
When I went to pick up an order for door - I saw patio seating
