I’ve never been the type to write a review before, but enough is enough. This is an AWFUL place to volunteer. The Chief’s are some of the most rude and arrogant people I’ve ever associated myself with. The drama that occurs here is off the walls and there are very few people here I would actually trust in the time of an emergency. So many older folks are put in charge here and they simply do not know how to keep up with new times. I honestly think that the only way to help WVRS become a better place is if they put in new, better, younger people. If you are considering volunteering somewhere, PLEASE choose somewhere else with a better sense of community. Just trying to help out.

We wanted our daughters to meet some of our local heros and they were amazing! I can't express how happy my girls were to learn and engage with the rescue squad. We're extremely lucky to have them helping our community.

Last year in December I had to call for an ambulance for my abdominal pain. They came in few minutes. The people were really nice. Two young girls were extremely caring. One girl had smile on her face all the time like an angel. I wished if she were my daughter. I was supposed to go visit them with some pizza, but then came the Covid-19 situation. One of these days I would go visit them.
