Shepherds Cove treated me and my family great!!.It’s a shelter not a five star hotel..I can’t say don’t listen to the reviews because everybody situation and experience is different.(People are different)People complain a lot and I guess it’s ok but it’s a shelter and it’s not Shepherds Cove fault we’re in this situation. They are there to help as much as they can and they do.When I first came in I didn’t know what to expect but it was surprisingly very nice and was very welcoming. They provided us with clean sheets and blankets and also let us wash our clothes. They provide three meals a day.U get a room so you do have your own space.I was there for a year and I never had a problem with staff. When u first enter they tell u housing is not guaranteed. If somebody say they don’t house anyone that’s a lie because I saw with my own eyes and they help me get housing.Ms.Bethea and My caseworker Mrs.Williams.I also had a good relationship with other caseworkers that wasn’t mines lol.To make things easier have everything u need like birth Certificate SS cards for every person and ID cards etc.The shelter might ask you for other things.Have a Plan so they can assist you. They all do the best they can do and they worked very hard and I’m very grateful.

I read a review where the owner claimed that the person was inappropriate and gave false information. If that’s the case why did you guys give a resident 5 pampers and why did the director of case management Stephanie Bethea say out of her mouth “if they have some type of income they should afford pampers”. The shelter has major fire hazard violations for the elderly. In case of a fire none of the handicap residents will ever have a way out because they all are on the second floor and there is no way for them to exit the building down the stairs if they are in a wheelchair. A pregnant resident was just told yesterday to not use the toilet to throw up in but a trash can

Yes, you can donate feminine hygiene products.
I used to work there they do help with utilities, but you have to prove that you can pay moving forward.
I know someone who stayed there and they wasn't overbooked at the time. They helped her a lot. She's moved to a temporary house. Later she got married. She trusted Jesus Christ to help her. And he will help you to👼
I truly hope that I can
You might need to call them to be sure

Sorry.. I'm not an employee at Shepards Cove. Btw, I wouldn't go there if I were you. Check LARS (Laurel Advocacy ) on Google. Best wishes!
