What can you say. Super knowledgeable rangers that answer your questions, flat screen to help you see whales, observation deck, Public restrooms, picnic tables and great views

Free! It was too windy to see any whales, but I'm still glad we stopped by. The lady who greeted us gave us a sticker and a ton of info about the whales and their migration patterns. We browsed the displays and learned a lot. Bathrooms available, free parking within easy walking distance, and lots of cafes and shops across the street. Totally worth a stop.

No water type animals were seen on our visit, as the water was too rough. The volunteers were super nice and knowledgeable about the area and subject. Parking was a pain.

The building is closed but the views sure aren’t. We saw MANY whales 🐳 out showing off. Cool stop on any Oregon coast drive.

I have lived here for over 10 years. To rent a boat brings you closer to the whales and the captains are extremely informative the lady who runs the whale Research Center is a biologist who worked with Jacque Cousteau I would recommend going out on her zodiac. The view from the shoreline gives you the ability to see the whales spout and in the late summer and fall the whales come closer to the Shoreline otherwise they're about 50 yards out to Sea
The zodiacs are $35 to $40 for an hour and half the big boats are about $20 per person
1 Hr Whale Watching $20/person $2 online disct/Adult 1.5 Hr Whale Watching $25/person $2 online disct/Adult https://charterschedules.com/Dockside/requestTripMobile.php
