When I called to make the appointment I was a bit overwhelmed but by the time I hung up I was ok. At my appointment I was greeted by Liza and she eased my anxieties and inform me on the process and gave me lots paperwork to read up on. Everything was very quick and easy and very pleasant! I will recommend this place to everyone! 5 stars all the way from beginning to end!

Florida law requires all recommending physicians to complete a state-mandated training program in order to qualify patients for medical marijuana use. All CannaMD physicians are state-licensed, board-certified physicians who have completed this additional training.

As outlined by Amendment 2, the following conditions qualify for medical marijuana treatment in Florida: ALS, cancer, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and PTSD. In addition to these qualifying conditions, Senate Bill 8A also allows for treatment of other “diagnosable, debilitating conditions of like, kind, or class” (such as anxiety, depression, and migraines), as well as terminal conditions (diagnosed by a physician other than the physician issuing certification) and chronic nonmalignant pain (defined as pain caused by a qualifying medical condition that persists beyond the usual course of that condition). To find out if your condition is eligible, simply give us a call at (855) 420-9170! You may also visit: https://www.cannamd.com/conditions/

Yes! Our physicians are state-licensed, board-certified MDs and DOs just like any other doctor you might visit. However, our physicians went through additional training in order to be able to legally recommend medical marijuana to patients, as mandated by Florida state law.

How do I qualify for medical marijuana?

McKenzie Lewis | Sep 22, 2020
CannaMD - DeLand Medical Marijuana Doctors & Cannabis Cards | Sep 22, 2020

Before purchasing cannabis from a medical marijuana treatment center (or dispensary), Florida patients must first qualify for a medical marijuana certification; CannaMD provides qualified patients with the state-required recommendation to complete this process. The state of Florida outlines a number of eligible health conditions. To see if yours is one of them, simply give our board-certified physicians a call at (855) 420-9170. We’re happy to review your personal medical history for FREE and steer you in the right direction!

If you are a Florida resident with a valid Florida ID (with an up-to-date address,) you may qualify for same-day approval by the state. If you do not fall within this criteria, the approval process takes approximately 14-17 business days.

Do you offer any discounts?

Are they expensive

Grit Kelly | Sep 22, 2021
McKenzie Lewis | Sep 22, 2021

For what you get, definitely not! They only make you come back to see the doctor every 210 days (the state maximum), update all of your recommendations for free, and you have access to email your doctor or call their patient liaisons with questions anytime! Most of these other doctors charge you just as much and you only get a quick appointment and none of the extra bonuses. I say $249 with CannaMD is well spent!
