The Chatter Box of Long Grove

I was able to check chatter box out with my Friends. First hand I thought it was a pretty cool spot. My friend arrived early to get a table. Once everyone arrived I have to say the service wasn't the greatest. And we were seated right next to the host/server station. The food was great I have to say. The ambiance was great really made me think of the 90's with the decor and the music! Only thing was the wait staff was not very receptive.

What a total disappointment. We have been to this establishment many times and loved the food and the service, not tonight. We sat at the bar only to be ignored, in hindsight we should have left. Flat bread was soggy the deviled eggs were hot only because they sat in the window for 20 minutes.

I have been here for first 10 minutes and I think I like this place. I’ll write more later! :-) So, the environment was cozy and confortable. I was not too hungry so I just ordered two asada tacos which were delicious. I will definitely stop again when I am in the area.

Sydney was our waitress and was so helpful with suggestions. We’ve never been here before and just so happened to hop in on taco Tuesday. What a treat. The fried avocado tacos were amazing (Sydney’s) suggestion as well as the Baja tacos. Super delicious awesome service if you request Sydney. Overall will most certainly come back.
