Highly recommend! Every single person was super nice, the vet included, and super knowledgeable. They were able to see my (not so easy to work with) dog quickly, and got her some relief. These vets and staff do not get the credit for the heros they truly are!!

The service at Bradenton Veterinary Emergency greatly exceeds what I have encountered at other emergency, and standard, vet offices. Prior to arriving, I called. My call was answered by Joey, a vet tech, who empathetically asked several questions to prepare for our visit. He greeted us at the door and immediately took my dog back for testing, while I checked in. My pet was treated before I signed any paperwork agreeing to pay. Within 10 minutes, Dr. Ross met with me to deliver difficult news and review various options. She gave me ample time to make a decision and returned to the room to answer my questions. I decided to proceed with surgery, so Dr. Ross began the pre-operative work, which included several tests and a quote in excess of $1,000. Shortly after beginning, Dr. Ross returned to deliver more difficult news. By this time, my husband arrived. She offered the option of discontinuing testing and answered more questions clearly, patiently, and compassionately. She gave genuine advice, whereas some doctors hesitate to be candid, and - after giving us more space and time to make decisions - she was understanding when we decided to take our dog home for in-home euthanasia, rather than following her recommendation of euthanizing there. Joey returned our boy and was extremely kind, even explaining how he kept him comfortable during x-rays and sharing that he gave him some cheese for being a good boy. The final cost of this visit was the least of my concerns, but it is worth noting that it was less than half of what I expected to pay. Dr. Ross did only what was necessary and prices were extremely reasonable, especially considering the level of service. I have paid more for basic vet visits than I did for this emergency visit, which included an ultrasound and x-rays. Although this emergency visit resulted in my boy being put to sleep, I cannot say it was the worst case scenario. During a time we could have been charged a small fortune and kept waiting helplessly as precious minutes ticked by, we had the best level of care I've encountered within a vet clinic, and I've been a pet owner for nearly 25 years.

Malachi was rushed to BVE. Dr. Mendez suggest X-rays and blood work. An obstruction was suspected. She gave her recommendations and honest options. We took her advise and opted for surgery. Dr. Mendez was so professional, easy going, friendly and compassionate. Dr Ross introduced herself to us prior to leaving as she would be doing the surgery due to shift change. She promise to call prior and after surgery. She kept her promise. They sent photos of Malachi which helped me feel better. When I spoke to Dr. Ross she never rushed me off the phone. She ism very friendly and knowledgeable. She encouraged me to call with any questions at any time. When I did call she always came to the phone. Dr. Ross was honest when Malachi wasn't eating and invited me to come see him, despite it was full since it was the weekend. Normally on Monday pets seen at the BVE have to be discharge to their Primary Vet. Since Malachi had been there as a patient on several occasions, they agree to let him stay. He was at BVE for 2 nights. I thank BVE for saving his life. I thank them for making me feel very comfortable calling at any time. I knew he was in good hands. Dr. Ross and Dr Mendez I am so thankful you took care of Malachi. I would always bring my pets to BVE in an emergency. The staff their is top notch and I thank them for giving me a military discount. Thank you again from Malachi!!!

This place is outstanding!!! My parents dog ate part of a towel after traveling to FL. We realized after a few days it was not going to pass and her appetite decreased and she started dry heaving. We called ahead on the 4th of July and they were able to see her within a couple hours. We were blown away since we know that there is a crisis in veterinary medicine since covid - not enough staff and too many pets needing help. It is very normal to wait many hours to be seen. She required emergency surgery which was done the same day. She is 2 weeks post-op and doing wonderfully! We are so thankful for this practice!

$100 for the emergency exam. We open at 5:30 pm so if you have an emergency now it might be best (and less expensive) to see if a day practice can see you!
Call them! I'm not sure but they're the best I've ever dealt with.
It was $386 for us when we put down our Shepherd last week. But we had a private cremation which was a little more expensive and had her ashes returned to us. There are less inexpensive options they do offer at Bradenton Veterinary
Bradenton Veterinary Emergency was great they saved my 4 week Kitty very caring
I only called around and got prices for the exam, the best advice i got was to show up at The Humane Society because they have programs to help people with financial issues. I didn't think about the Humane Society to be honest. Thank you for responding quickly Jessica, it really did help calm me down and give me another option i didn't think about.
We are happy to sign and provide any documents your insurance company requires. Most veterinary insurance providers require that you pay the bill and then they reimburse you based on your submission of their required paperwork. I hope this helps!
