We really enjoyed our stay at Yosemite View Lodge. The location cannot be beaten unless you’re staying in the park. The room was large and very clean. Everything we needed to make the most of our time in Yosemite. Balcony overlooking the river was beautiful! Front staff were very helpful, parking was easy and shop was handy and not badly priced given the location!

We arrived after a long drive from Las Vegas and were very nicely surprised about this place. It is fairly basic in deco and little dated but it had everything we needed and for us it was perfect. We used the pool since we could not enter the park until 4pm and in the evening we cooked our own meal and we sat outside on the terrace with a perfect stargazing view. We also had a pizza and cold beer from the local pizza place, it was very nice. Friendly and efficient reception.

This hotel is right in front of the entrance of Yosemite park, location is very good! Their room is comfortable and well equipped. Not just stoves, they even got the pots, dish wash soap and plates ready for you! We stayed here for two nights and we really enjoyed it! If you walk around the hotel, you will see some beautiful places near the river. Will definitely come back again.

A great place to stay when visiting Yosemite. The room was clean and tidy, and having the kitchenette saved us a lot of money as we were able to cook our own food. It was so well insulated we didn’t even need to use the heater. All the amenities were open late (the pool, the laundry, the store/front desk) which was very convenient. Bring your swimming gear because even in the cold weather, the indoor pool and spa are more than worth a visit.

I keep calling and no one has answered, is there another number i can get ahold of these people at?

I was there a few weeks ago and before then, I had the same problem. Try them in the morning before eleven or after four in the afternoon.

I received a message saying I needed a day pass to drive through Yosemite , with a link for facility 300015...but I still can't get a ticket. Am I missing a way to ensure that I can drive? otherwise, I must cancel, too much of a risk otherwise

Several ways to get your permits to enter the park: 1.) Day-use pass $2+(yearly pass or $35). 2.) In-Park Camping, Lodging, or Vacation Rentals - not sure related this or not, with your 300015. Check out by yourself. 3.) Wilderness or Half Dome Permits. 4.) Group permits. https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/reservations.htm

Hello, We're staying at the hotel from 16th off december. I saw the check in starts at 15.00 hours, my question is what time is the check in closing?

Rowald van Raam | Jan 29, 2020
Bryan Muñoz | Jan 30, 2020

Hello, I'm not sure, but is like 24 hours, because there's always someone in the check in desk

We have reservations for 3 nights next month- conformation # 22143650-1. I want to make sure that we will have a room that has air conditioning and is working, and can cool the room. Are the units wall units which are terribly noisy, or central?

Anna Silverman | Jan 29, 2020
Shannon Bryan | Jan 30, 2020

Wall unit, and family suites have at least 2. Rooms are very spacious , our family suite was wonderful. I didn't find it dreary at all. Maybe the carpet (which is just in the bedrooms could be a little more updated, but we had a nice big farm table , 2 balconies, fireplace, the suite was huge. In Yosemite, it's rustic, and even the best hotel in The Valley, the Ahwahnee is not modern. History, rustic adventures, authentic to the surroundings in Yosemite is what you will find in any of the accommodations. Stay at the YVL, you'll enjoy it, it's right on the river, you'll get to hear it during your whole stay. Make sure you visit the Ahwahnee, so much history and free tours. And here's a fun tip: as long as you are not drunk, or in a vehicle you can stroll anywhere in Yosemite with a cocktail, so there's that ;) Pool and hot tub at the YVL is nice too. They have the best gift shop, 2nf only to the Ahawahnee. Great prices and very authentic gifts. Have fun!! YOSEMITE is magical!

The village looks like it was served by a rail line once. The shuttle bus comes the valley and actually enters the carpark at the lodge. When I was there it was $7 to the visitor center.
