So they really help u get your own place? Cause I'm in a situation where I need to get my own place like section 8 or assisted living or the next step up from assisted living.I heard good things and bad things about this place. So which is it and do they take women and children 3-6months ??

Can't say enough about the place. Clean, safe and they help you get your own place. It's not perfect there are attitudes and different personalities but it's well worth it.

I had nowhere to go with me and my son and this shelter gave us a place that was safe . They also had job resources that helped me get back on my feet . outreach center have provided me with adequate affordable housing that i transitioned to from the shelter. I cannot say enough great things about the shelter. Also this shelter is a place that will help you if you help yourself. They have many connections and resources to help you get back stable , but they are not here to do all the work for you. So if you are ready to work on stability and need a place that provides a bed and 3 meals a day this is a place for you.. BOS will always be apart of my journey and i will always love this shelter for being there when i needed it most. Great team caseworkers ,counselors, and staff! Thank you BOS!

Did u call them? If they have space they will take u, if they don't call 311 for assistance
Need help now how can I get into the program
Yes, we are an emergency shelter for women and children
Where can I drop off bed Blanket for the Homeless
There is an intake procedure and a 48 hour waiting period. If you call and leave your info the intake director usually calls withina day or two to set up an intake. But it's women with children and you have to have had at least your first covid Vax shot to enter.
The shelter is only for women and children
You'll have to get a note from your PCP, I'm a diabetic and I have hypoglycemic seizures so anytime I need something sweet they do help. As far as work as long as you have proof it's no problem at all. It's a wonderful place and it helps out a lot it's the clients that you have to worry about. For the most part they're like family.
Do they accept gently used toys?

You dont want to go there smh
