Walk everywhere from this cozy, well decorated inn. Nice breakfast with very helpful and cheerful staff. The staff seems genuinely proud and happy to be working at this 1886 treasure. Quiet at night, too. We will be back.

Had a very good experience staying at the Vandiver Inn. The beds were comfy and clean. The service was great, and the breakfast was yummy. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area! Very nice time!

Great location and very pretty grounds and ambience. Within walking distance to downtown shops and dining. Very cute neighborhood in Arts and Theater district of Havre de Grace. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Even offered wine to compensate for an inconvenience, which was nice but not necessary. The room was a little less clean that I would have liked, with long hair belonging to someone else on the bathroom floor, and quite dusty. Breakfast was great. It was definitely better than expected.

Yes. And there is a wonderful spa salon in walking distance.
Actually there are beaches in Gunpowder State Park Hammerman Area which is about 40 minutes away. Some folks will wade in certain areas near our beautiful Waterfront Promenade. Thanks for the interest!
