I wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to give my sister and I such a wonderful tour, providing us with a great introduction and to allowing us to walk around the facility. It was such a pleasure to see you and hear your perspective of Charleston --it really gave us a great idea of what it would be like to stay at Charleston. Stephanie Granville's presentation was very down to earth and excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about seniors' involvement and activities. Thank you once again!

Currently, I am not happy with the administration and the acceptance process for getting an elderly loved one into the facility. The process appears to be drawn out with no communication from the administrations. Calls have been made and messages left but no follow up. This is not what I or my family expected. A non-refundable deposit was left in August and still no follow up between the contact person and the admin. This is unacceptable.

I wish this facility all the best and success! Good luck to you Charleston Senior Community ! It’s nice to see this property again as I have come back to the area after a long time away. I’m happy to see this property/building on Saint Patrick’s Drive repurposed and continue to provide for the Waldorf community. I had worked at this property more than 30+ years ago when it was originally built and operated as a joint venture between carl baldus and the simpson land company as the holiday inn waldorf. Good luck to all of you there.

My mother has been here for a month and a half so far so good! The owner is kind as are all of the workers I have met. Some of the nasty reviews are just not true. It is a clean place, the food is cooked well and employees appear to be sober. An employee actually gave a bad review because they were told they had to come to work sober? If that was part of a comedy special on TV that might be funny but it is not-that is sad. 2020 Update to post: Okay the covid was a scare however this place was so wonderful in keeping it under control. It is sad the rest of the places did not have such great results. Maybe the Governor’s office can use this group as a prototype for success. Thank you Patrick and all employees!

Did you call the main number to ask where she might be?
No idea. I'm inclined to believe that it would be based on income.
Hey sorry to hear about your mom. It's assisted living he would have own private room . I just got hired and haven't started yet. It's look really nice tho. Sorry I don't have too much info for you.
