The best hibachi in the daytona area by far. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but it's always been 100% worth it. Def worth trying if you have not

We visited Daytona Beach and the locals highly recommended Takeya Japanese Steak House and Sushi. Great atmosphere matched with the delicious Hibachi and Sushi. Takeya offered really nice quality sakes to compliment the meal. Excellent service overall. The seating was nice, right in front of the chef and we didn’t smell like Hibachi afterwards. Definitely will come back whenever we are in the Daytona beach area.

This was probably the blandest tasting hibachi I have ever had!!!! That's the gist of it,besides that the restaurant decor is very good, and the initial server was very attentive ( that's why im giving 3 stars instead of 2 or 1). The cook was either inexperienced or didn't really care but regardless of the excuses he used 2 eggs and about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce to cook fried rice for 10 people, the shrimp tasted frozen and again didn't have any seasoning. My advice to the restaurant is to at least make sure the cooks use more soy sauce.
