Beautiful hiking trails. One leads you right up to Englebright lake! They had gold mining for the kiddos and a small store. There is a lot of history to see. The covered bridge has been renovated. Plenty of swim spots through the area. Parking is $10, your time there is priceless. Beach area!!! Water is always a tad cold but manageable. Make sure you have your phone charged for the endless photo opps. Benches are available but pack some chairs

One of the best river spots in the area. Multiple options for families and hikers who seek more solitude. Safe shallow water beaches for learning swimmers plus deep swimming holes for the more adept at river enjoyment.

Beautiful bridge with an amazing design and fascinating history. Glad we made the trip. The views of the bridge, the Yuba River and surrounding terrain were beautiful.

Hello, you only pay for parking, it is a very beautiful river, you just have to go early to get a good place since it gets very crowded .. if you want to enter the lake that is 5 minutes before if you have to pay ..

The largest "single span" covered bridge is the 330 foot long Knights Ferry covered bridge in Knights Ferry, CA. It is longer than both the Bridgeport bridge and the bridge in New York State that was destroyed in 2011.

It doesnt look like it is a single span bridge. The photos online for knights ferry covered bridge have two support columns located under the two access doors. It may be longer than the bridgeport bridge but it doesnt look like knights ferry covered bridge is a single span. It is the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi, per its website though.
