I visited the ER this morning believing I had a kidney stone. I have been in pain for 3 days and could not handle it any longer. I was in a lot of pain and I was checked in quickly. My visit was going smoothly until labs were ran. I had two nurses that were giving me different results. One nurse told me there was a small amount of blood in my urine sample while the other said there was nothing. I was given medication for my stomach and pain. My symptoms were pain in the middle of my back down to my tailbone and muscle tension along my abdomen that made me nauseous. The stomach medication that I was given helped but my back was still tense. I was told by RN Katelyn that it's only acid reflux and to be on my way. (She told me there was nothing in my sample) RN Morgan told there was a small amount of blood in my sample after running labs. Morgan is also the one that administered my IV and was a complete sweetheart throughout my visit. Overall I was going to give this place 2 stars but because RN Morgan was very kind and communicated with me I'm giving this place a 3.

They never verify you as it should be. They ignore the patient's concerns. I don't recommend it at all.

No
I am not sure who it may has been. I was very informed before I left and my home health care nurse called before I could get in my car and get home.
I don't believe so at North, but I think they do at the downtown campus.
I am not sure about their procedure regarding grandparents.
Very short wait everytime I've been
I'm not sure and I work in the kitchen there.I could ask tomorrow when I go in for work.
For what?
UF Health has a very good infection prevention staff. You might call the main number and ask for their offices. This question might be best answered by them.
Because your not going to die? This is where people go to not die. Try an urgent care and stop holding up those who want to not die
Hi Gretchen, Yes we do. For future reference, you can find all of our accepted insurance plans here: https://north.ufhealthjax.org/Patients-Visitors/Billing-and-Insurance.aspx

Yes between 3rd and 6th floor. You can always check the kiosk right in front of the elevators.
If you remember the Date his Nationality it would help. They should also be able to pull your records by your name and he should be listed as the Dr. Good Luck
I suggest you go on website. Also visit UFH North and ask for a tour. The staff is wonderful with easy vibe. Downtown facility very busy not unfriendly but not as friendly as North.
They are all one legal entity so most likely yes, but i am not completely sure
Check in is on main floor of the medical office building, it is on the right as you walk in the door. I found them quite helpful, they will guide you from there. Remember your ID, insurance card, etc.
