They were not able to help me but referred me to someone who could. In my book, that's total 5 star service!

Let me give you a fair warning-Do not give this company any money up front for any reason. If you do,get ready for a battle royale when they don't show up or put you off for many days.Reputable businesses don't operate this way and these people are shady.Very shady. These people wasted two days of my time while I sat around waiting for them to show up for their scheduled appointment. When I called, the scheduler said she'd "look into it".The bottom line is that she really had no idea if or when I would get what they charged me for, because she "just answers the phone"

Questions & Answers

Can you buff scratches out of auto glass?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022
Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022

Scratch removal in auto glass is not a commercially viable solution to the retail market. Basically, it is labor-intensive and not always successful. If the customer is not satisfied with the result, they are understandably not willing to pay for the time and materials invested by the glass company. Scratch removal and scratch buffing systems exist; however, they are typically only practical in warehouses, industrial, and larger commercial glass projects. Please call our Glass Doctor office if you would like a more detailed explanation.

How long after my windshield gets replaced can I drive away?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022
Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022

Currently, most Glass Doctor locations use urethane with a one-hour safe drive-away time from when the new windshield gets set. No need for blue tape or any holds on washing your car. You are fully protected at the 60-minute mark. Please be sure to check with your local Glass Doctor to ensure the type of urethane being used.

Can you cut tempered glass?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022
Glass Doctor - Owner | May 24, 2022

Unfortunately, tempered safety glass, by design, cannot be cut. It is designed to break into small pieces when cut or broken to reduce the risk of significant injuries to the person breaking it. Using safety glass, of which “tempered” is one type, is mandated by state building codes in specific applications like doors, sidelights, showers, etc. Please call Glass Doctor if you want more information on this topic.

Yes! We do replace rollers if needed. Of course, we try to clean the tracks and rollers and adjust first. If that does not work, we will discuss replacing the rollers for you.
