Awful utilities! I experience power loss all the time along with ridiculous prices. This needs to stop and FPL needs to take over.

So I got and pay a 500 deposit to get power ay the new place, not only do I have a special needs hils that's insulin dependent at the house and need to have power for her. I get told that they're not sure they can have someone turn it on today, but I've had 3 of their vehicles drive by so far and you're telling me no one can turn on my power ? This service is sickening!

So I just moved to Fort Pierce and my move in date was on a Friday. I called FPUA to get my power turned on and to my surprise they do not connect power over the weekend. I had to move all my stuff in this Florida heat. This relationship is already starting out like an uphill battle. With something so important as power, you would think the services will be available 7 days a week. Hopefully once I get service I can write a better review. Fingers crossed So, I'm back to give an updated review... I received my first full month bill and was shocked by how much it was. My bill was almost $200.00 dollars for a 1,280sq feet 2/2 home. It's only me and my 10 year old son who wasn't home for most of the summer. I wasn't paying this much for the 2,391sq foot 4/3 house in PSL with 3 adults and 1 child. Not to mention my elderly mother was home all day every day. Not a happy customer, and I'm really starting to miss the discounts, good customer service, and availability FP&L offered.
