I took the opportunity to get into Voc Rehab when I first moved down here in Ocala in 2020. I have a rare genetic disorder called Tuberous Sclerosis, so I have a mild learning disability. I am giving them a 2 out of 5 because the process of getting enrolled was very slow and when I tried to reach out to my Voc Rehab Counselor Stacy when I needed something she hardly answered her phone or responded to her email. Voc Rehab partners with All Florida Safety Institute in Ocala and the lessons I took were supposed to be paid for through Voc Rehab, since I don't have a driver's license. Well, almost a year after I took the lessons and having my case closed, they didn't pay for them and I am now ending up having to pay out of pocket. I've tried to reopen my case (in courtesy of the driving school) so that I can finish my driving lessons and get my drivers license, but no one answered when I tried to call. I'm not sure I will be using these services again after this.

I can't speak for all of the counselors, but Tanya is absolutely amazing! She has assisted me twice now and both times she's been incredibly helpful and kind. You can tell she actually cares and wants to help.

Worst facility ever!!!! My mother came in and she's been extremely sick with the flu. Her physician was rude and pointed at a chair farthest away from her while yelling at her the whole time about how she could have called. This mannerism is absolutely uncalled for! My family also works in the medical field and never would we treat our patients with such disrespect!!! She will be changing physicians immediately and I will be reaching out and filing a report so that other patients can be aware!!
