I grew up in a family of builders, and at one point we also owned our own kitchen store. With the cost of cabinets going up, the RTA cabinets made the most sense to me, as I have a work shop in the basement so building them was easy. But if you can use a drill and glue you can do it too. Our house was built in 1925 and we have restored the entire main floor now. I searched the web and contacted a number of RTA cabinet providers to just get a feel for who they were. The people at WholeSaleCabinets.us were always friendly and responsive. But more than that was how they replied to the many google reviews I read. It is not so much in what the client is saying as much as how the company replies that means the most to me. With RTA cabinets, there are things that are not custom, but if you are handy or can use a local finish carpenter to help, you can design and build a very custom kitchen. I have included a few pictures of our remodel and the new kitchen - still with just a few things to complete yet. While I have nail and staple guns, I opted to use the fastening brackets and screws, as with a little thought the use of these fasteners can help pull the cabinets together where the side panels and shelves show. Also use some shims - take your time and do it right! Anyway, I wanted to say thank you to the team at WholeSaleCabinets.us for making our dream kitchen a reality!

Within a day I had a response from their designer Sara and a rendering that evening.
