Don’t go here for your ER visit. If you do make sure to be very clear and question on how they are billing you. Dr Joseph violaris billed me for level 5 high complexity 99285 for food poisoning. Level 5 is generally reserved for major trauma like loss of limb, car accident, etc. I received fluids/IV and it appears doctors can arbitrarily decide or provide unnecessary extra treatment to code this the highest level to receive the most money. Now my United healthcare is refusing to pay because of the incorrect billing and team health is refusing to change.

I want to say Thank You to the doctors, nurses and staff at this hospital’s emergency room. I came to Naples to visit my daughter and granddaughter, while I was here I began to experience leg pains . My daughter suggested that I go to the emergency to make sure that I hadn’t developed a blood clot. I was hesitant about going to an emergency room because I have not had positive experiences at hospitals’ ERs. However the pain was so severe that I had to seek help. From the moment I entered the ER at this hospital I felt at ease. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and professional. I waited less than 15 minutes before I was seen by an intake professional and a nurse. The PA who was assigned to my case listened carefully to my symptoms and arranged for me to have the tests needed to make a proper diagnosis. I was diagnosed and prescribed medication to help me with my problem within 2 hours. I was impressed. Thanks again !

I am a research physician treating people near and far. First, do you see the terrible reviews. Would you would let a plumber, electrician or home cleaner inside your door with such horrible reviews. I have lived here many years and heard the stories that NCH and the NORTH hospital was really poor. I did not get it. Oh now I get it.... There are no words to describe NCH. All the stories were true. NCH is CRUEL with profound ACTS OF MALPRACTICE. So here is my doctor's order: Run!
