Today I had the worse health care experience of my life. Dr Pfeifer was rude and condescending. I’ve suffered from migraines all my life and she insisted on referring to them as headaches dispute the numerous providers I’ve seen in the past who have diagnosed me with this Illness and this is the first and last time I will ever see her. She was unable to answer specific questions, she acted as a politician. Go to WakeMed downtown the providers are more compassionate and professional

I had a nine o’clock appointment for lab work today and was checked in by the front office receptionist who immediately start asking me questions about my Medicare insurance as well as intrusive questions whether or not my husband was working or if I had other insurance with my husband job, or if I ever worked. When I questioned her about the personal and invasive questions, she stated the federal government wanted to know. Since when? I have never had these issues before regarding my insurance nor the questions she asked me. I feel she crossed the line and she was being judgmental. I can’t remember her name because I was so upset. She is the older white lady with grey hair. Her attitude and demeanor was very unprofessional. Not a happy patient.

If you want someone to care about your care go somewhere else. Apparently I made a mistake by thinking WakeMed or this office actually cared about me as a patient. Dr. Dyer, I cannot believe I ever trusted you. Everything ruined by the way this office communicates with its customers - since we apparently are not patients here. Who knows what was actually ever meant. You are indeed just another doctor in the rung of bad health care service.
