We gave a significantly large order to Home Depot to renovate the floors for our entire home. The representative in the flooring department was very knowledgeable and helped us prepare our quote. When it was time to actually place the order, he was on leave and his back up team member told us that one of the components in the order was incorrect, and I should come back the next day. We got in the next day and placed the order. Things were fine till here. One part of the order was to be placed online, which the store did on my behalf. All flooring materials were to be delivered inside my home in two weeks time. In two weeks, when they sent the order over, we realized that they did not ship the stair treads which were ordered online. When I called the store, I was told the order was cancelled and no one knew about it. We placed the order again and I got a tracking number - the items were delivered on 8/29 at the store. Unbelievably, they lost that order again. I've spoken to 5 people, including two managers, Amer and Matthew. Amer "promised" to call back in two hours - never did. I called into the store the next day, Amer was nowhere to be found, Matthew asked me me what the problem was. It looks like Amer just took off without investigating the issue and did not fill in his counterpart. Matthew was absolutely not concerned and just washed his hands off stating he would "prefer to not step on anyones toes" and would ask Amer to call me back. I asked when? His reply was - I don't know when, probably when he finds out. My concerns it's a large order, who is the point of contact I should reach out to? Is there any "ownership"? Why are the managers so incompetent that they do not know what is going on in their stores? There is no update on my order as of now, and the stairs are not yet installed and the carpet is half ripped out. No one at home depot knows where the order is, despite me providing them a tracking number and confirming the order is delivered to the store. All the money was charge upfront and is already paid.

Went on a weeknight around 8 looking for a specific tool. I looked for a while but could not locate it, then could not find an employee and went to the front. The lady was very nice and called for help, and i waited/kept looking for a good amount of time, but again, but not able to see an employee. I went back and eventually found one, who was able to help me immediately and was very nice. I spent much longer than i would have liked to get just one item, but they were very helpful/nice when I was around them, and it was late on a weeknight. Thank you!

Didn't know there was a Home Depot card. Is it a gift card. Make sure, that you're not at Lowe's. I tried to use, Lowe's card, at Home Depot. Doesn't work.
