Back Alley Bikes was a huge blessing for me as I tried to get back into biking. Not only was I able to find the right bike for me in my price range but the staff was super helpful and friendly. They got me everything I needed and I love my new Giant. Thanks again!

Had a bike problem on a ride, they were able to fix it and get me going immediately

Obligatory new bike photos. Thanks to the crew at back alley bikes for getting this bad boy assembled so quickly.

Hi, Unfortunately, we don't take trade-ins and we don't sell (or service) electric bikes. Jason
I feel very confident in saying that if someone got covid, they didn't get it at Back Alley Bikes. There are no customers allowed in the store so all interactions are outside in the fresh air, and we're all vaccinated, masked, and distanced inside the store. -Jason
Hi Vicky, I wish I had a good answer for your question but we don't sell or service e-bikes so I don't have any direct experience to draw upon for a meaningful recommendation. Jason
The ramps are gone! RIP Gnarrboro.
Hi John, We don't accept trade-ins. We will sell used bike when we have them, but we don't have any at the moment. Thanks, Jason
Raleigh and Burlington are the closest BMX tracks. That said, there's a small pumptrack at Solite Park in Durham and there are plans to build one in Carrboro soon. There are also small jump skills areas in Crabtree County Park in Raleigh and Briar Chapel in Pittsboro. Many skateboard ramps in the area allow BMX bikes, some are in public parks and others, like Daniel Dhers, are privately operated and cost a few dollars per session. Hope that helps!
Thanks, Alex!
