WM - East Side Transfer Station

The east side transfer station has gotten steadily worse for residents over the years. You need ID and a utility bill to dump. The station is open 7:00am-4:30pm but as a resident you only get to dump between 7:00am-9:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm only. There computers are a joke and it takes an average of 5 minutes per vehicle to go over the scale. Sometimes you can get in the long line at 1:00pm and never make it in by 3:pm and your out of luck. Waste Management now makes you wear a hardhat and vest that they supply. So I had to wear a hardhat and vest that god knows who wore it before me. Can anyone say covid-19? The Buffalo common-council is complacent in this and the mayor wants to increase that by 4%. I have 1 large garbage toter and pay $237. a year for garbage tax. So when you see that someone illegally dumped somewhere in the city, you might just know why.

Good place to get rid of big junk like a hottub. Cost $102 min charge tho. Could use better signs in the parking lot how it works and what direction to go.
