I am definitely the type of person who shops multiple car dealerships, both online and in-person. Buying a new car is too big an investment not to. Over the past decade or so, no matter where I compare prices, I always end up buying my new Honda from DCH Honda in Eatontown. Beyond the fact that they always end up giving me the best deal, the people at DCH are great. They treat me with respect and show true interest in making the car buying experience as best as possible. I recently bought a 2023 HRV from DCH, while trading in my Honda Pilot that I also had purchased from their dealership. They gave me the best price for my trade-in and the best price on my new car. My salesperson Justin handled the process which started in early July that ended in mid-September quite well. He called me about a half-dozen times to keep me regularly updated with the build, shipping, and delivery of my car. Justin explained all the features and took time to make sure that I understood all that my new car had to offer. David in finance handled the paperwork, which by the way is mostly “not paper” as it is done electronically. A special note about Dennis the sales manager. Dennis stepped in back in July when there was a not so minor issue with the deal and handled the issue quite well. Then when I picked up the vehicle with my family in September, he helped push the deal through and across the finish line as my trade-in needed one final evaluation. He took time to meet my family and had a really nice conversation with us. We talked about my three teenage children who one day soon may be DCH Kay Honda customers. All in all, DCH KAY Honda in Eatontown made me feel like a valued customer and is a dealership that I would strongly recommend for your next Honda purchase!

So, I found myself looking for a very specific vehicle which I found at DCHKay Honda. Let this review serve as a warning to anyone looking to drive 2.5 hours one way for a specific car, only to be severely disappointed. Let this also serve as a warning about the 2014 Camaro SS that is advertised as "low mileage", and "good condition". This vehicle was advertised for $27,500 definitely not a measly sum in my opinion. I contacted them about financing, didnt hear anything for 24 hours, then had to play transfer bingo with four different people, before they gave me a new salesman "Jordan". Jordan seemed upbeat and decent to deal with. He advised me that the finance manager "Paul" would be calling me by a specific time. Two hours after that time I reach out to Jordan, and an hour later the finance manager finally called me. We agreed to terms and I set an appointment to come purchase the car 9/16/22. When I arrived Jordan was currently with another client and said he would be right with me. I asked where the car was so I could take a look. He pointed it out and my wife and I went to take a look while we waited. What I found was a $27,500 car that looked like it came out of a South Philly $1000 auto auction. The entire driver side of the car looked as if someone spray painted it after damaging it. There was not a single six inch section I saw on the front back and sides of the vehicle without a scratch, ding, dent, or shoddy paint work. I will say that whoever their internet photographer is deserves a raise for being able to mask the SEVERE issues this vehicle had. I did not make it to the point of starting or test driving this vehicle, so I cannot speak on the mechanical condition. What I can say is five hours of my life were wasted. I worked in the automotive/dealer industry for a large portion of my life, and I have never seen a customer experience quite like this. The sad thing is, the issues that this car has could have probably been fixed for less than $2000 dealer internal cost, and been presented in real life as it was on the internet. Buyer beware of this place, and before you look at the 4.7 star Google rating, sort by 1 stars and read the horror stories. Do better DCHKay Honda, your customers deserve better.

Horrible experience on this place avoid buy used cars from them i dont recomend i brought an used honda odyssey 4 days later my car broken i ask for help they say sorry we can do nothing about it

I'm unsure if they do inspections, but NJ Department of motor vehicles is just across the street and you can get inspection there. Usually no, or not much a line anymore, they're only checking emissions now.
