The music store and the people that work there are wonderful. As for the instructors, Amy Crippen is the best violin instructor ever! She is strict and pushes hard yet she is fun and very loving. I imagine the other instructors are just as great.

Depends what you're trying to learn. If you enjoy chord progression and rhythm you'll probably enjoy acoustic more. But if you enjoy playing riffs and power chords...it's definitely more fulfilling on an electric. Also, be prepared to start spending $$$ once you go down that rabbit hole lol Amps, cables, effects pedals etc.
