Fav spot to visit for breakfast on my way to town. Good food, nice staff. Just wish they had like a sign in sheet instead of having to wait in line. Even if I just walked up and wrote my name myself and they just call you in instead of standing in line.

We were not able get a table outside for 2 with our small shitzus Boo, because there was a family of 3 adults and 4 kids who just arrived and occupied 4 tables. Go figure. We kindly asked the host if they could ask if they could ask customer if they wouldn't mind if one kid sitting alone at a table could move to one of the 4 table with plenty of space. Said can not do that, and if we wanted a table, we would need to wait about 45min/hr. We said thanks! But no thanks and headed out to The Grizzly Manor down the road. Waited 20 minutes and the Food and hospitality was awesome. Will be our go to for now on when we go up to the cabin.

I ordered a turkey sandwich with aside salad turkey sandwich was ok the tomatoes where huge and seemed as if they could have added more to the sandwich like lettuce and pickles on the side it was just bread mayo turkey and tomatoes sliced very oddly at that probably one inch thick a decent amount of turkey just left some to desire service was slow but that was to be expected in big bear small town quirkiness but the visual of the establishment need a bit of a touch up one thing I did like was the cash register it was antique and still inservice but seem like everyone that came in was family not too many outside customers not sure if I would order a turkey sandwich there again but I would give them another chance with a different option on the menu
