Based on my experience with an Alaskan Malamute that needed stitches on her nose, the ER was very good and attentive. It was a bit expensive, but that was to be expected for an emergency. The urgent care hours are pretty abysmal, and despite it saying they take appointments on the website, they told me over the phone that it is walk-in only and they will determine the wait-time based on severity of my pet's condition. Receptionist seemed annoyed to answer any questions and was very curt. Once you get booked, I would say the care is very good.

Called trying to schedule an appointment and the girl on the phone couldn't be more rude or careless about my questions. I honestly couldn't believe how rude she was.

Frankly, I was impressed. I am used to be taken advantage of the moment they see me coming with a sick pet at other vets. I did NOT get that impression at all at this facility. They even reimbursed me $60 for services estimated but not rendered. While this is a small amount, it did contribute to building my trust. It was in and out with adequate medical advice and at-home medications. The pricing was not cheap but it was reasonable. I cannot say how it would work if my pet was in a more serious condition or required surgery or hospitalization but for a minor emergency it worked very well. I hope not to be back but if I have an emergency, they will be my first choice.

Great staff, great best practices. This place is staffed with special people - I can’t say enough about how much easier they made a really, really stressful time. I highly recommend although they are always slammed! So be patient and be prepared to wait a bit. But it’s worth it.
