No, an appointment is generally not required but it is highly (underline that haha) suggested when visiting any DMV office. An appointment will cut your wait time significantly. You can't usually find an appointment available a day or week ahead but if you know what you need before then try to. Also if you are able to, find documents online and fill them out ahead of time. Not all documents are available online. You can walk in but you have to stand in the check in line, receive paperwork to fill out, go back to that same line to then receive your numbered ticket (unless the clerk is awesome and just gives you a ticket the first time, RARE), then your wait begins for being called to the processing window. If you have an appointment you skip that line and go up, grab your paperwork, fill it out, go back to the appointment line, receive your number and bam you are called around your appointment time as ling as you showed up early enogh

the wait time is significantly shorter than most dmvs! it depends on what it’s for but when i walked in, it was was quick.

I got my real I'd license in about a week in a half. But they didn't put everything on it like my motorcycle endorsement so I went back took 2 hours and have to wait again for my new license. I would go back or maybe call dmv see if there's a reason. For it being late I do know that Sacramento post office is way behind do to the virus.

You just need the DMV change of address form filled out. You can print this online i beleive otherwise go into local DMV field office and they are on the counter no need to stand in line to get the form.

If you jave the time go in to the DMV at 6:30bam and you'll be one of the first to get there and they will assist you with your new tags. You gotta go in to get your tags.

You need the title of the previous owner ,fillied out ,the title has information slip attached to release the old owner to yours then paid registration fees. Feel free to ask more if you need

No...you would have to set an appointment. However, there are days in the later part of the morning when they have taken care of all the appointments for the day...you can walk up, they'll give you a number, and you can go back later that day to be seen.

You can pay at the kiosk in DMV...but, in order to get helped at the counter, you need to go online and set an appointment. There are some insurance places that also help with DMV sercices. Central Valley Insurance is one...as well as AAA.

If I had to take a guess I would say call the insurance company and file and a claim let them know that there might be already one open and you need to add more information just put em in the claim that you have open yeah that you have more information on it no big deal and the dmv gets a copy I would worry more about the insurance company rather than the dmv being missed informed

The Lodi DMV is open every Saturday, unless otherwise stated on DMV.ca.gov (Holidays, etc.).

You need to go retake the permit test and retain your old permit. The old permit is the only proof that you have had a permit for the x amount of time you have had it. After passing the second test, they will issue another one to last the rest of the 6 mo. That you needed. Mind you, you must yake the permit test or have it scheduled before the old permit expires. But you should double check yhat they have the right permit number for when you take your behind the wheel test.

An employee told me some employees volunteer to work on Saturdays so with that in mind don't expect their office to be fully staffed on Saturdays.This means your wait could be longer than usual, but you'll just have to see what the wait time is on any given Saturday.

No. I suggest arriving 1 hour before they open and get in line. Without an appointment and not lining up early, you could be waiting hours before being seen.
