The hotel was clean but other than that not a great experience. Staff hid in the back office and we’re barely at the front desk. We were a black family in town for a wedding and definitely were not welcomed. Marijuana is legal in Michigan and we were charged for leaving residue in the room although no one smoked in the room. I honestly don’t believe there was residue left but even if so there was no smoking. It was an easy way to charge black people and let us know even after our stay that we were not welcomed. As others noted only negative reviews receive a response. U can save it! You’ve already let us know we were not wanted!

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the pool and hot tub were perfect temps the bed was very comfortable was the best sleep I've had in a long time, my friend forgot her toothpaste and the lady at the front desk I can't remember her name was able to help her out with no problems the breakfast in the morning was good but the eggs were gone by the time I got down there no biggie though the rest of the food was great. The manager Heather seemed like she was a little stressed but seemed like she was handling things like a champ. Would highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again.

Well I normally don’t write bad reviews but my comments are more concerns about the accessibility and equipment for handicapped. I stayed here last night 2-19-22 and I stayed with my mom in a handicap room to better accommodate her needs well to start the parking lot is pure ice and all handicapped parking spots had mountains of snow never removed and for how much the staff is standing right there at the door smoking they could at least throw some cups of salt down then I stayed in 107 handicapped accessible room the shower had a chair inside and when I sat down it instantly snapped under me I hit my head on the bars hurt my tailbone very badly it was bruised instantly I reported the incident to front desk very little care or concern from staff and was told the hot tub would be closed all day due to adding chemicals and when I went to pool room it was opened all day pretty bummed out being that my body was sore from the fall I could have used a hot soak very disappointed in the well being they gave for handicapped people

I was leery of staying here because of (reviews) of bed bugs. However, that was NOT the case at all. We ended up staying 2 nights for our Anniversary this past weekend January 14-16, 2022 and this hotel was Very clean. I even moved the mattress and sheets before checking in to make sure. I have stayed in many hotels and I would give this hotel a 5 STAR , minus the bleach/chlorine in the pool was too strong it burned our eyes and we only could enjoy for 5 min. Before going I saw the hotel responses to the guests complaints and thought they were trying to down grade the guests experiences {Honest opinion}, but after staying there I realized the staff was just trying to save their name to baseless claims. I now realize it could have been competitors leaving bad reviews or just people trying to get a free room. I experienced clean, quiet room. This coming from a clean freak! I did request a room away from the expressway as I have seen in other reviews and no noise for this light sleeper. Great for a Fri /Sat night. I suggest a safe in each room and lower the choline in pool so guests can enjoy to the management. Breakfast was well stocked with a variety to choose from.
