Alrighty, we went here for a Saturday breakfast. We've been here several times before, so I'm taking those visits into account too. Bob Evans is a family diner with a good selection of comfort food. We have really liked going there for a 5 star breakfast. Food is great and staff is friendly. During peak hours, the wait is not usually long, maybe 10-15min on average. My current review is 4 stars only because they seem to be having staffing issues and it has affected their service. Expect longer waits. More than half the seats were empty, but we still had to wait 20min. It took a while to order and get our drinks and food. Food was not hot and fresh when we got it as if it had been sitting out on the counter waiting to be picked up. We still enjoyed the food and the staff was still curtious and friendly. We would still recommend, but expect a slower than average service.

Placed an order for one breakfast, eggs, potatoes, sausage links, biscuits and gravy and one coffee at 11:00. Said it would be ready at 11:30. Arrives at 11:24 said it wasn’t ready - no problem I’m early. 1140 go inside to get my order since they had not brought it curbside yet . Waited for someone to notice that I was there along with another person picking up told it wasn’t ready yet. Finally at 11:48 asked someone to check on the order and she said it would be another 15 minutes or so. CANCEL my order please. Sure hope I’m not charged for it.

Ok I know when a business is short on workers you expect to wait longer but they had 2 servers and about 3-4 tables total, with no more than 2-4 people at each table. It took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our food. At one time didn't see our server for about 25 minutes. Now I've worked in a restaurant before that was really busy and each server had 4-5 tables at once and sometimes a party and they never took a long as these people did tonight. The food was good, that would be the 1 star.

Fiddly Digits

This place has really gone down hill. Last time I ordered online to pick up, when I arrived the doors were locked, nobody would answer the phone & I had already paid online. After sneaking in the door while others left, I waited over an hour for my food. I got pot roast, it was cold, the carrots were undercooked & the portion of meat was so small it wouldn't have filled up a 5 year old child. My kids ordered chocolate pancakes, pictured with chocolate & whipped cream, they came plain. Thought I'd try it again today, and that was a mistake. The food actually looked good, but the portions were small again, food was cold because I waited 45 minutes when I was told the wait was 20 minutes. I ordered 3 kids meals when it was time to pay they only brought me two. So now I'm in line at McDonald's getting food for my other kid.
