Enjoyed the BBQ sandwich with slaw. I always add Texas Pete so a mild BBQ is fine by me. Wife thought BBQ was plain tasting and needed more spices without having to add sauce. The vinegar based sauce on table is good. Very good hush puppies.

First time visiting this BBQ restaurant on on trip to OBX. We received a very warm welcome by a very friendly and professional staff. You can seat inside but the seating outside, I think is much better since there's a lot more room and places to seat. The place was very clean and the food was reasonable priced. Everything from pull brisket, sweet potatoes, ribs, and green bean casserole, I can go on and on. If you come here, your gonna lick your fingers and I don't blame you, It's that tasty.

Sheila and I dined at Currituck BBQ Company for lunch today, and we found it to be about the best North Carolina barbecue we had ever tasted. Not only was her barbecue chicken dinner delicious, my pulled pork barbecue sandwich crowned with really first-class cole slaw on a bun that did not fall apart or become sodden as I ate it would have been worth substantially more by itself than Currituck BBQ Company charged—yet both dinner and sandwich came each with two sides! Both of us chose fried okra as one of our sides; Sheila chose fresh beets as her other side, and I had the potato salad. Portions were quite generous—we asked for boxes to bring much of it home, and bought an extra pound of the pork barbecue to share with our son Chris when we got home to Virginia. I see many reviewers have been here before me and have already raved at how friendly all the employees are, how spotless the restaurant is, how perfectly and attractively prepared EACH ITEM (including the hush puppies that came with Sheila’s plate) IS. As I grew up in Raleigh, I can only tell you that this experience, which happened to fall on May 10, 2022, our 47th Wedding Anniversary, actually carried me back to the fine cooking I was enjoying seventy years ago in North Carolina’s Capital City, and I was very proud that chefs at Currituck BBQ Company were maintaining so well what I consider a precious heritage. Incidentally, Currituck BBQ Company was awarded a “Best of Currituck” Award in 2021–I doubt it was the first time—but it shows that even their friends and neighbors recognize their worth in and to the community. Well done, all of you!

Very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Our food came out fast, hot, and far more delicious than we had any right to expect. My only regret was that we didn't have time to sit down and try everything. We had BBQ pork sandwiches with coleslaw and kid's chicken bites with fries. We loved it all! We'll be back as soon as we can get there from New Jersey.

Good. No indoor dining, masks required, distancing required. They do have outdoor seating at picnic tables.
Yes they have gravel parking with covered out door seating as well
Minus bread it should be. Just order the platers and you should be okay.
No. They have them stacked up. It is apart of the law of not being able to eat at restaurants.
Not sure if they are business-as-usual that day, but they are taking orders for Thanksgiving dinner.
