I like River Oaks a lot, great course, pretty chill vibe around the place and it’s priced about right. The front 9 is entirely par 3s and not in the best shape but I love the back 9 down along the River. Pretty well taken care of course and I like the grass range. Putting green is very nice and you can chip. If the front 9 were in better shape I’d probably come play 18 on the weekends more but I love stopping on my way home from work for the back 9 at twilight, really beautiful down there as you’re coming up on sunset.

It had been many years since I’ve played at River Oaks. At least 10-12 years. I decided to go back and golf the back 9. WOW! The back 9 course and greens were beautiful and looks way better than I remember. I did not get a good look at the front 9 so I can’t attest to them. Also, the price is competitive with other courses. I have found that many courses have raised their prices, but have begun lacking in the maintenance category; finding poor fairways and greens. This doesn’t seem so with River Oaks and it has now become my weekly destination for golf!

Started playing golf last Friday and played again Sunday, very awesome course! Clubhouse staff is very friendly and prices aren't too bad, going again this Saturday!

This is the course I consider my home course. It's not a big course but it's a decent course to work on my game. I especially enjoy coming here after work for twilight golf. During twilight I can sometimes finish the full 18, depending on the time I start. Overall a good course, fair prices and it's close to home.
