Loved this hotel! The front desk agents were welcoming and professional. My family truly enjoyed the quaint surroundings and the close proximity to the Plymouth shops and restaurants. We had two rooms that were clean and ready upon arrival. The standard room also came with a refrigerator which was definitely a bonus in July. We will definitely make this our "go to" hotel for future visits to the area!!

Absolutely terrible. First off, Lindsay at the front desk is extremely rude and disrespectful. We called down twice because the outlets in the bathroom weren’t working, both times we were hung up on. Secondly, the room was dirty and there were black hairs in the shower. I paid over $700 for two nights and felt like I was staying at a motel 6. We had also called months ago and earlier this week to request that our friends room was next to ours and we were told both times it wouldn’t be a problem. When we checked in, Lindsay was again extremely rude and told us that it isn’t going to happen which would have been fine if her attitude was in check. The pool was also filthy. Don’t waste your money here, we certainly will not be back.

Positive: Great location to downtown and Plymouth attractions. If this is your main focus, I recommend this property. Otherwise, I think there are better rooms for the price nearby. Negative: Hotel is very worn out. Dated and worn furniture needs updating. Air conditioning was marginally acceptable at full blast. Unexpected $25 ¿Resort Charge¿ was a joke since the only resort amenity is an indoor pool, which we did not even use.

The hotel is close by restaurants and shops, so if you don’t want to drive you don’t have to. The staff is very accommodating. It was nice to spend some time in their heated. I would recommend staying at Hotel 1620, even if it’s just for the weekend!

My mother is chronically ill. We are planning a 2-week vacation in New England, but there is a small chance she could become worse and I would have to cancel my trip. Is there anything I can do about a refund if I MUST cancel my trip?

It really depends on what the cancellation policy is. When you call the hotel explain the situation and see what the front desk agents offer as a suggestion.

Great location close to the ocean (actually across the street) and everything else....restaurants, shopping, spa, banking, etc. Close enough to the highway and larger retail shopping areas. Newly remodeled, great rooms and plush beds. This hotel offers all of the amenities you could request. You will enjoy a relaxing stay in a peaceful environment.

No but if you are a foodie there are a ton of awesome restaurants. You can also go on a ghost tour, whale watching, deep sea fishing, rent jet skis and more.
