Not a good experience walking about today and SP was acting smug and irritated when I held my confidence and answers speaking back about my yays and nays about what was being offered. Two SP walked by and no acknowledgement. Seriously smug and miserable and the vibe at this place was terrible. It would be helpful to add narcissism to the personality profile when you hire your employees. Based on this negative and ick experience today, I went elsewhere and paid more just to avoid dealing with that person and the store in general. The second star is for the deal given to me, which was a good deal given at the very last minute unfortunately as I was exiting, which I was stopped two times when I was walking away, stopping me. That type of behavior of talking to an adult as if gullible from a young person to a grown adult never goes well. Felt like I was in a car dealership. It made such a bad and lasting impression. Here's some tips: tell your employees not to say "follow me" and "you can read find the prices on the back" when the SP is standing there with ipad and calculating things out. It's their job. And do not ask for a customer's information when they are simply asking for a price. And do not use the term "just for you" when giving a 'deal'. No, that did not make me feel 'special'. Proper communication is essential in sales.

MD was a very helpful associate, knowledgeable about the layout of the layout and the stock of the store and conscious of our needs. My only concern is we would have liked to wander the store on our own for a bit first and get a feeling for what is there with a little less social pressure. I understand the nature of showroom sales doesn't work well with that but that's our only criticism.

Are all these negative review about the Oxnard store? WOW I am certainly not alone in how disgusted I am with the total experience I had a couple of years ago. I am only writing this now because I just closed my account permantly and it stirred it all up again. I have only ever made the one purchase I am talking about here. I was NOT told that I would be unable to return the overpriced chair I purchased when I purchased it. Like in other reviews, the delivery was lightning fast (once they finally arrived), placing the chair in my living room and leaving before I was even able to sit on it. So the reclining mechanism did not stay when fully reclined, the padding was absolutely substandard. I paid specific attention to the arm padding in the store. The chair on display had plenty of padding on the arms.. The chair that was delivered was so poorly padded that when I lost my balance and fell against it once hitting my forearm against the arm, I actually hit hard wood and had a huge bruise on my forarm as a result. Kinda like getting bruised laying on your bed right? When I called customer service within a day of delivery I got absolutely nowhere. I then went into the store and was told by their unitied front behind the counter that I had to refuse delivery at the time of delivery in order to return the chair, there was no other way I could return it. Bottom line, horrible customer service and even though all looks and feels lke quality furniture IN THE STORE, just wait until you get it, I suggest blocking the delivery van to keep them there until you inspect your furniture if you dare to give it a chance. I wanted to dump the chair in their parking lot but I settled for the county dump instead where it will certainly feel more at home with the rest of Ashley furniture that has been sent there. NEVER EVER AGAIN and their credit card? Little pieces flushed down the toilet to swim in waste where it belongs.

Yes they do they will charge you do to they come out of Fontana area it's a 3rd party that delivers there furniture.
