Good food, excellent service. Quite the list of wines to chose from. Can’t say we will rush to come back but enjoyed our time!

Bay house is delicious 😋. The portion size for each course is a good size. You either leave stuffed or your taking goodies home. Presentations of the food are so beautiful; you almost don't want to eat it, but when you do, it has perfect texture and flavors. The staff are wonderful. They welcome you like family and are so accommodating. Everyone wants you to have the best experience. The view is beautiful. I highly recommend it. 👌

Hi, Ms. Dunlavy! Thank you for being in touch. The Bay House at Salishan is currently closed for renovation and will be open again on Wednesday, December 29th. I hope to welcome you soon, and look forward to showing off the new digs! Cheers! Steve Wilson Proprietor
So sorry. The owner Sold it in October & I lost my job. Wish you had known before you drove there. Have a great night.
Hi, Les! Am I correct to assume that it’s you, the second owner of The Bay House? Well, as a matter of fact, we are moving the restaurant to a spot 1.5 miles south and 220 feet above the location of the since-burned down Kernville Tavern. In our quest to take the restaurant to the next level AND have overnight accommodations, we were planning an addition to the restaurant, but a nearly $4 million estimate to add 10 rooms made us think twice. While we were pondering if that amount made any sense at all, we got an offer on the property from out of the blue from Pelican Brewing Company. They will indeed demo the building to construct their 3rd brew pub on the site. Meanwhile, we’ll be moving onto a 36.5 acre site into what has been a $2 million estate home with 3 guest rooms and an expansive view of Siletz Bay from Salishan all the way north to the current restaurant site. The Bay House will finish operations in our present location on October 27th, after 41 fantastic years.
Button ups and jeans are fine. Dress is mixed but everyone is very friendly.
