We went to the new Salishan location. Arrived at 9:15 to get good parking. My husband counted 15 vendors. Really? Only 2 with produce. Really? Also, one with expensive baked goods. So that leaves 12 crafters/misc. Not much of a farmer's market. No music, no sitting. The produce vendor as you walk in had fabulous produce and great variety. Probably won't go back except to the one good produce place.

It was not a very pleasant experience when we stopped by on Sunday August 22nd. The vendor left (north) to the museum was not honest to me when I asked his help to pick up a good $3 watermelon. He did not want to sell the one I picked. Instead he sold me another one from backside. We found he has cheated us the next day. It was not even close to ripe. It was very little pink in side. I don't think anyone would eat it. He also tried to sell me an big one but I declined. I don't believe the vendor made a mistake of selling a not so ready produce. The ethic of being a vendor is very suspicious. So. Be cautious there for such kind of vendor. Good luck.

Nicely located along the highway. Weather was perfect for some leisurely shopping time. Lots of wonderful farmers' and awesome crafters' tents. Very sociable and friendly vendors. Amazing artisans located in the main building as well. Great market!
