Worst service. I took my wife for Penicillin shot since Dr suggested to put it for safer side. They did not run my insurance and informed us out of pocket cost nor the total cost for service. We didn’t know that this service gonna cost $2500. It was our first time and shocked to see the bill amount. Finally ended up paying $1180 as out of pocket cost. The medical system is full of scammers and money looter’s.

In thinking seriously about leaving UCD and going to Kaiser. I have ileostomy and need IV fluids regularly. Should I do it? I’m just tired of the ER at Ucdmc. Thank you for you input it’s open enrollment for me now!!
