Badly in need of a facelift. Peeling paint on the otherwise beautiful windows made me sad. The roof is in sad shape on the main building and the pool was closed. If you go for the historical experience you should at least be apprised of the current condition. Delicious wedge salad.

Stopped by on the way out of the Park. Will say better than the food at a place serving Cafe style in center of park near #4. Price kinda high for the food experience, but gladly enjoyed hot meal. Seemed like the food at the start of a TV program to fix the restaurant part of your businesses 🤔 that's the best way to put it. Outdated. Now to service, weighting staff, on point that's the third star. As for front, they gave us 45 min wait, not a problem. Then, they came and called us a little earlier, nice... you would think. Then, they said, hold on, they didn't want to seat us in a small corner spot. We thought very thoughtfull. But, I notice the next couple that brought in. And I noticed where they sat when they finally asked us back to a small corner table. The other couple lad a large table next to the front overlooking the front view. We could see the trash on the side of the building... bad move.

Food was good. The staff is helpful and friendly. The prices not too high. Historical environment. Cool thinking Theodore Roosevelt was the there.

Amazing historic place in the Yellowstone National Park! Hotel is super charming! Food was good, great spot to grab food or a drink, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
