Great store for pen making supplies. I find their selection of pen kits to be better than Rockler and the fact that they had made examples of their kits was very convenient! I walked in for several drill bits and a polish and they had everything I needed. The man behind the counter was friendly and willing to help. Very positive first experience.

This shop is a woodworkers dream. Huge, well-organized facility. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff.

I really want to give this place a 5 star, but I had a couple experiences that force me to downgrade it to 4. In general, I’ve not found the staff to be quite as friendly or informed as they are re at the Rocklin Rockler store. One time, I had to tell the froth counter that I wanted to buy the dado brake cartridge for my sawstop, but the person didn’t seem to know what a dado was, and kept looking up and bringing back the regular brake after searching in the back. My second negative experience was when I went to purchase my sawstop. The person loading the crate into the back of my truck hit the tailgate pretty hard and ended up causing several thousands in damages, which tainted my new sawstop purchase experience to say the least. Woodcraft did have insurance that did end up repairing the vehicle without issues, but I’d be very careful if you have someone loading a crate into your truck. Make sure to tell them to be careful. The last experience was pretty minor, but also annoying. They have a policy I guess to not allow people to enter the store with backpacks, perhaps they’ve been robbed before, the surrounding area isn’t great. But during this specific visit I happened to have several thousand dollars worth of equipment in my bag and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my bag either in the car or at the front counter. I’d rather leave my license or something else. Either way, I wasn’t having that and left. I still really enjoy visiting this store and supporting this chain the best I can. I do tend to prefer rockler though.

I've started turning recently and this place has been really helpful. I've taken some classes here as well as bought several tools and materials here. Everyone is crazy helpful and very polite and understanding that they have to help a noobie learn stuff. I never have felt like I've been taken advantage of in that way either. You'll pay slightly higher prices for some things, but when you're starting out that's a compromise you can make bc the info you'll glean from the staff is worth the extra couple of bucks. My appreciation to the staff of this store. They do a great job of teaching classes and helping you learn some of the processes while still having the room to be creative and enjoy yourself.

They do. Call to see if that size is in stock.
Contact Urban Wood Rescue in Sacramento.
Yes call the store for details.
Masks, distancing, and limited capacity. The usual.
No. Only high end woods.
I would say no.
I would call Hughes Hardwood in Rancho Cordova
Only one i can think of, which would be cabinet & drawer making.
Check in the store, they would have times listed. Woodcraft always allow groups to meet in their classrooms.
