BerryFest Strawberry Festival

Nice size event and plenty of Strawberries.

The event was a "Ho Hum" as we expected Roseville to do a bit more this year after so many non-events. Roseville Strawberry event used to be such a great event. In this year's event, there might have been 5 strawberry vendors and a dozen other vendors. The kids stage was nice and there was a wine and beer area. It seems that if we are going to do this on Vernon, then why not get enough vendors and activities to line up Vernon and engage all of the shops on Vernon. We arrived around 11am on Saturday and not many shops were open. What a miss! After an hour, we left. We then went to the Asian Pacific Cultural Festival in Elk Grove and that event was FANTASTIC. There were some great food trucks, many artists, over 25+ Polynesian and Indian performances, beer tasting, and over 80 vendors. What a great event. And on Sunday, we went to the Art, Wine and Beer Festival in El Dorado Hills. That too was a great event. What has happened to Roseville where our community is having to go elsewhere for an event? Disappointed.
