I was very impressed by the professionalism and thorough exam. The PA took her time with me addressed all of my concerns and guided me to the next steps into taking care of my issues. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dr who will listen and really give you options for treatment.

Friendly staff, but very sloppy performance. I had to correct MA giving injection half of the time just before giving wrong TRT dosage. One of my blood draws failed to make it to the lab. PA (Erez) never got dosage right - and failed to correct dosage in ways that turned out to be common sense - once I did further research. PA (Erez) never bothered to call me back to discuss final blood test results after TRT cycle had ended. Due to the recently raised prices and the unreliable care I received, I cannot recommend this office.

MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

Many people believe that ED is a normal part of aging, but it does not need to be. Healthy lifestyle choices can help you reduce your risk for developing ED and assist you in maintaining a healthy sex life. Many instances of age-related ED are linked to a decrease in testosterone – something that is extremely treatable. ED might also be linked to psychological issues which can occur as a person ages, so it is important to seek counseling if any issues arise.

What do you do if you ED from diabetes?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

ED is a common side effect of diabetes but it can be managed. Working with a doctor can help you get issues under control as quickly as possible. By improving blood sugar levels you are reducing the risk for nerve and blood vessel damage that can trigger erectile dysfunction. It is also important to make sure there is no secondary cause or that your medications are not causing ED. Counseling can also help alleviate the symptoms of ED.

Is the HCG diet natural and safe?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

The HCG diet is considered natural and safe. HCG, which stands forhuman chorionic gonadotropin, is a hormone that occurs naturally in the body based on different variables. HCG tricks the body into thinking it is pregnant so it redirects calories to growing the phantom fetus by unlocking fat reserves and reducing hunger despite the drastic reduction in calories. The HCG diet is an option for those who are struggling with weight and face a variety of health risks due to obesity.

How long should you take Suboxone?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

Suboxone is a treatment that can be used to deal with pain and the symptoms associated with opioid withdraw. It is considered safe, but it should not be used indefinitely. The length of time it should be used varies from person to person depending on the progress of his or her withdraw. However, experts recommend that Suboxone not be used permanently, except in cases when it is prescribed to treat a medical condition and not deal with withdraw.

Does Suboxone help with pain?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

Suboxone is prescribed off-label to treat pain. Off-label means it is not approved by the FDA for this use but it can still be prescribed legally by doctors. It is often used in combination with an over-the-counter pain relief medication, such as aspirin and acetaminophen, or Excedrin, which contains a small amount of caffeine and can help to relieve mild pain. Suboxone can help to alleviate the symptoms of withdraw from opioids.

What is suboxone therapy?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

Suboxone therapy is a treatment for opioid or heroin addiction. Suboxone can be made up of buprenorphine or a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone and is administered under the watchful eye of doctors during withdrawal. It is followed by a maintenance program when you are no longer having withdrawal symptoms and having minimal side effects. Despite its effectiveness, Suboxone is known to cause serious side effects, so it must only be used under the supervision of a medical professional.

What is platelet rich plasma?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

It helps with cell growth and it has been used for injuries as well as hair loss. Patients who have had surgeries have recovered faster with PRP therapy. In some cases, doctors will treat patients with PRP therapy prior to surgery. A patient’s own blood is drawn and placed into a centrifuge so it can be spun, causing separation. The PRP is then pulled into a syringe and injected into the scalp. Using PRP for hair loss is relatively low in risk, but can result in injury to blood vessels or nerves, infection, calcification, and scar tissue.

How does PRP help with hair loss?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

PRP, which stands for platelet rich plasma, as a treatment for hair loss became popular after researchers determined that high concentrations of platelets in plasma cells help promote hair growth. It works by prolonging the growing phase of the hair cycle. Injections of plasma are put directly into the scalp where hair loss has occurred. PRP is thought to trigger natural hair growth and maintain it by increasing blood flow to the hair follicle. This method is often used in combination with other hair loss treatments or medications.

What is the HCG diet?

Robert Henzon Llarves | Sep 21, 2020
MedX Medical Center | Sep 21, 2020

The HCG diet is an aggressive weight loss approach that can result in the loss of 1 to 2 pounds per day. The diet is also supposed to prevent dieters from feeling deprived of food while they lose weight. Dieters eat a low-calorie diet (usually about 800 calories per day) and receive HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin injections. HCG is a hormone that occurs naturally in the body based on different variables and it is the reason why people are able to stick to such a low-cal diet without feeling hungry.
