Great service and where very knowledgeable. Anyone who is having issues figuring things out should def go here and get what they need.. gave them a very poor description and it was like the movies. Knew what I was talking about and knew the setup I was aiming for.. only reason I did not give them 5 stars was because I had to rush to get their before 5 and after getting off work I was alittle stretched for time.. if they had even one day where they aimed more for the everyday man that lives in this area and not just actual plumbers and handymen then I would be over the top.they just need to advertise it good and well. great store great service and great location..

Service technician, Ben, did an excellent job replacing two sink fixtures and repairing an outside faucet. Prompt, professional, courteous , and cleaned up afterwards. New in the area and Hirt and Elliot will be my go-to company for plumbing and electrical. I highly recommend them.

Due to dust collected on the wires while your system is not in use, your heating system may smell like something is burning because the dust is burning off. The smell should go away quickly and not be something that you need to be concerned about unless it persists for a long period.
First, try liquid drain products that are well suited with your home plumbing system. You can also try a plunger in the sink or tub that is clogged. Remember to never mix chemicals and read labels carefully before administering drain cleaning probucts.
During the colder months, cover outside faucets with insulation kits. You can also keep a close eye on your water bills each month. If you see a spike in the bill without a known reason for causing it, chances are there is water running somewhere in your home or yard.
Plumbing isn’t completed all at once. As a matter of fact it is completed in three phases. The first phase would be the underground rough-in phase. Following would be the aboveground rough-in phase and finally the finishing phase also known as the trim out or trim finish phase.
A plumbing installation can be defined as a system of pipes and fixtures installed in your home, business or family for the distribution of potable(drinking) water and the removal of waterborne waste.
An electrical installation can be defined as the act of putting something in permanently. In this case, referring to electric services. We will do anything from bringing electricity from the curb to your home, business or farm. We are experienced in burying electric for new construction or installing new wiring to bring your current home up to code and even installing new ceiling fans, light fixtures or outlets in your home.
Electrical repairs can be simple fixes or extensive repairs depending on the situation or what a home or business owner is specifically requesting. Hirt & Ellco’s pricing is reasonable and can be quoted with one of the Service Managers either over the phone or in person depending on the job requested.
Asthma and allergies are two health problems that can be helped with indoor clean air. When airborne irritants are removed from the air, persons suffering from asthma and allergies will often find relief from their symptoms. Healthy people who have never suffered from allergies can even benefit from clean air. Removing particles such as dust, smoke and mildew you remove the amount of exposure to your respiratory tract.
Pricing for Hirt & Ellco services can be quoted by one of our Service Managers. Please give us a call, let us know the job you are needing done and we will either come out to give you a quote or give an estimated ballpark amount over the phone.
This depends on the size of your home, how many appliances you have on gas vs electricity, and how much of your home you want to power during an outage. During your consultation, your Kohler representative will discuss all of these factors with you to help you determine the best size for your home.
The cost of your new generator will depend on several factors: the model you choose, the size of your home, how much of your home you’d like to power, and what installation entails. Your Kohler representative will be able to give you a price range during your consultation.
Portable generators can be purchased at big box hardware stores. Most portable generators run on gasoline and can burn through 10-20 gallons per day of use. Homeowners must be careful when setting up, refilling, and running extension cords to/from a portable generator since not following instructions can be dangerous. They have to be started manually, something that may be difficult or even impossible during or after a storm. Standby generators are permanently installed outside of your home. They run on natural gas or liquid propane gas, which you do not have to manually refill and does not require extension cords to power your home. A standby generator turns on within seconds of a power outage, giving you almost uninterrupted power.
