We used them a about five years ago, and they did a pretty good job. I was going to use them again, but as soon as I called, I remembered how awful their customer service is. I just don't have the wherewithal anymore; I guess I'm too sensitive. Otherwise, I would use them again.

Lady that answered the phone kinda rude like I called on Friday 3:45 an she leaves at 4 or something. I need 6 screens put in the frames an needed 4 frames made an screened. She told me like 50 to make the frames an 40 to screen them each .. I went home depot bought 4 rolls the roller tool an the rubber that holds it in an the 4 frame kits that come with everything all for bout 100.00 ... it's so Diy...

We purchased a house in early Oct 2021. We regretfully agreed to have two large windows repaired by Pickens vs insisting the seller replace. The two windows are high quality stained wood. Pickens estimated the repairs before the sale of the house at $800 so the seller gave them $1500 to cover all cost and anything left over would be returned to the seller. Well they finally got around to picking up the 1st windows in February. In that time they said that one of the windows was much worse than it was just in Oct and they went ahead a refunded the seller the extra money before completing the work. We had to pay just under another $700 to get our second windows back in June after my husband picked it up and installed ourselves. In this time my husband made about 20 phone calls to discuss this with incompetent people. When he finally talked with the owner, he apparently knew nothing about all of this happening. All of this, and on top of it the widows that they returned to us are nothing more than terrible sloppy work and the frame is now primed. They took windows that are stained wood never been painted and they return it primed. So we now have a partially primed set of windows that we have to paint. This will be reported to better business bureau. I would only recommend that people run from this business. They don’t deserve to get anyone’s business given the horrible work ethic, terrible repair service and terrible customer service.

I have used them twice for repairs to screens on our older home. They do a great job and I love that it is a family business. Denise is new but was super on the phone with me. She found out the answer to my question and followed through promptly. Thank you!
