My wife is a dentist, she has overseas degree. We went to this clinic because one of her teeth needed simple filling but dentist offers us crazy options, Root canal or extraction!!!😂😂 imagine removing a teeth with 80% fine condition! No good ever!

The girl at the front desk seems to think dental work can be done through a face mask, since she asks that visitors wear one when clearly it is not possible to complete a typical dentist visit while wearing a mask. Fortunately the dentists and hygienists seem to know better.

RUN THE OTHER WAY!! Worst dental experience of my life. Took them 45 mins after my appt time to get me back. In the midst of the COVID pandemic and one of the staff helping with my Xrays kept pulling her mask down so it didn’t cover her nose, despite being 4 ft from me and my forced open mouth. The dentist spent about 90secs in my room and didn’t notice that the xrays on the screen were not mine — I brought it to the tech’s attention after the dentist left and I saw them. I’m not in the medical field and even I could tell they were VASTLY different. They had to call the dentist back in to redo the 90sec “exam”. They said I had three areas that needed “deep cleaning and scaling” services that WITH insurance, came to over $1000. When I indicated I wasn’t interested in the scaling clean, they told me I was ineligible for the normal cleaning — it was deep or nothing. This was my first time at Monarch, I only went because my dental insurance changed and my trusted dentist was no longer in network. They never mentioned any issues with my gums...so I find it hard to believe that it advanced that much in between visits. If I do need this work (I’m getting a second opinion), I will choose to work with a dentist that notices that the crowns in the X-ray don’t match what’s in my mouth. The entire vibe felt like a shake down — high pressure sales tactics and offering all kinds of financing. Scam.

Had an appointment at 2:00 arrived 30 minutes early but didn't go back for 1 1/2 hours or so. Was told that I have a lot of 4's and need a deep cleaning. I have never had 4's and never ever needed a deep cleaning from other dental offices. I take very good care of my teeth and gums. The dentist came in after about 40 minutes I guess cause I fell asleep in the chair waiting. Then she poked on a few teeth then got up without telling me anything. Then another girl came in to take me to the front. I asked her if I have any cavities or anything and she said oh I need a crown. I told her the dentist didn't tell me anything about that and I asked if I had any cavities. She went and got the dentist to come explain. The dentist came in and told me I need a crown and that she didn't see any cavities. I asked her about my lower left teeth because they hurt and she said she didn't see anything there and that after I have the deep cleaning if they still hurt they will send me to a specialist. Anyway went to the front they said $1400 before my insurance. Which would be about $800. I didn't get my cleaning and didn't leave out of there until 5:30. I'm very frustrated and I will not be going back there. Then dentist looked like she just got out of dental school and didn't know what the hell she was doing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I feel like they are scammers.
