I became a patient of Dr Luse because of the my wife's positive Heritage Trace Dental. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and really made me feel comfortable. Good staff however their missed appointment fees are unreasonable when you have replied to their text and there is no clear direction for cancelling the appointment and just texting no is not enough and they charge you the $25 fee. I am ok with the fee if I had not attempted to let them know via the text reminder that we needed to cancel the appointment by putting NO. I just called and paid the balance and the receptionist asked me to send them a pic of the text saying "no" so they could send it to their it guy.... the text was back in DECEMBER 2018 I had certainly deleted that message. Then she said she did not see a response to the text ... I'm not even sure what to say to that.... I am calling to pay but I am letting you know SOMETHING went wrong with the system and she basically let me know it was up to me to prove I had attempted to contact them. I don't know what happened so I did pay the fee but we all (7 patients in my family) are certainly looking for another dental practice where the patient is not the one held responsible for keeping screen shots of all communication with the staff.

This office is the absolute best! I live in Arlington, and it's well worth the drive. The staff is so sweet, and always makes me feel welcome. Dr. Nielsen is the nicest guy, and a thoroughly competent and conscience dentist. He always makes me comfortable, explains the progress of the treatment he provides, and takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. I made the right decision to be a patient here 2 years ago, and will continue to be as long as I'm in DFW.
