Wow… all I can say is to Watch Out for the older gentlemen with gray hair that works there. He does not listen to what you would like cut. Really. He doesn’t. He just does what ever he thinks “looks good” and the result with me.. NO GOOD, twice. I’m so embarrassed to see my family on our reunion this weekend. All the ladies there do a Great job with listening on how you would like your hair cut. JUST DON’T Say I didn’t warn you about that older guy there. WOW

For starters, after stopping in to reserve a spot before getting a manicure nextdoor, I was acknowledged but never put in the queue. So I had to wait an additional hour. Finally I was seated by a gray-haired gentleman who did not bother to sweep up from the previous cut. Whatever. So I told the stylist I wanted him to just trim split ends and clean things up. He asked how much I wanted taken off, and I stated, "as little as you need to to clean up the ends." He stated that my hair was "actually in pretty good shape", yet proceeded to take off so much length, my hair went from long layers ending at my nipple line (sorry I'm a nurse) to an asymmetric bob ending at my clavicle bone. Being au natural, that's a six-inch distance! The stylist stated that he thought this was a good length for me. Who cares? He had no right. I'm extremely upset. Traumatized in fact. It extremely difficult to grow out my hair because it is curly, and I had mentioned this to the stylist before he got started. What a nightmare! I went in for a trim. Was explicit with my wishes. But came out with a banker bob and a full third of my length gone. FML.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
