We enjoyed our stay very much. Our cabin was very cozy and had all the things we needed. It was not far away from the NPT and other good cross country skiing. There is also a lake with a beach which looks nice in the summer. Our cabin also came with a fireplace and plenty of free wood. Highly recommended. My only complaint is the thin toilet paper.

PLUSSES: The location is great, on the lake right by the village. The grounds are pleasant, with flower gardens, ducks, and a large rabbit hutch. There is a beach with canoes and kayaks. Our cabin (Hemlock) is on the water. Three walls of windows and a skylight in the wood paneled living room with the screened porch through sliding glass doors. Sturdy Adirondack chairs by the firepit with plenty of firewood (but no kindling). The two bedrooms are large with California king beds. MINUSES the kitchen and bathroom. The shower handle was a bit loose but otherwise the shower worked okay, enough hot water and pressure. The fill valve on the toilet did not shut off unless jiggled. The kitchen had an adequate fridge and stove but the dishes and pots were barely adequate. We got by but it was not fun to cook. Another minus was the vaunted "Adirondack brunch" was canceled without any concession in lieu of that. Other New York hotels we stayed at did serve breakfast so it would seem to be at the owner's discretion but the owner's explanation was that it was due to "the rules". Last minus is the information book for the hotels read like it was copied from a Summer camp for boys. Admonitions and warnings. SUMMATION we had a good time despite the negative aspects.

Breath taking Remote resort with the options to visit tiny little towns or take a boat tore.quite hours are from 10pm-8am Better yet visit the Sagmore to learn fun and interesting facts. You drive on a dirt rode for about 30 minutes to end up at a cute red farm. Worth the tour. Dave the man to have the tour with.

Clean, cozy and all around wonderful rental cottage. The staff went above and beyond with their attention to detail for our Christmas stay. The cabin was decorated beautifully and they even left gifts for us and our girls! Highly recommended and we're looking forward to returning in warmer weather to take advantage of the beach and boating.
