When I was young I had children and couldnt afford Chrstmas for my kids. Three men showed up at my door n I got scared n thied to close the door. The first man put his foot in the door n tried to explained why he was there. Waving to the other top men to come over. Then I really got scared!! The men reached into a station wagon n grabbed boxes n ra for the door. Then the first man explained that they were from the VFW and someone had put my name in saying I could use a little help that Christmas. I cried!! I didnt know how I would have Chrismas for my children much less how we would have food. They brought in 3 huge boxes! LOTS OF FOOD AND TOYS for my little kids. To this day i still don't know who put my name in. I always wondered if mabey it was my dad. He was a Marine when he was younger. I was never so thankfull to see 3 strange men at my door as I was that day!! I was giving up on humanity and thought no one care about anything or anyone anymore.
